shes just not as sharp as Armani...

I went in my sisters room and she was playing with her cat and one of those laser toys... Armani took one look at it and then looked at the laser toy in my sisters hand and that was it, he laid down, like "I am not that dumb"... well Chloe went into attack mode, she WILL kill the red dot... she chased the stupid dot for 30 minutes and is still sitting in my sisters room standing guard in case the red dot intruder should come back... :rofl1:

poor thing is just not that bright!

she's just a terrier! albeit a teensy one :)

Be careful she doesn't develop OCD from that (and staring at the floor waiting for it to come back is definitely not a good sign there)

Awe.........give her some credit! LOL, maybe Armani is just much lazier than Chloe, hahahahaha

I second the OCD thing, her guarding the floor in anticipation of a return is NOT a good thing. We tried one here, Phoebe was like Armani......Meh. But Orson went wild, up and down the hall, slamming into walls and doors, just way out of control. That was that. No more for him.

My mother's old Rottie would knock her cats out of the way to chase the laser light although she never obsessed about it; when it went away she was off to another toy. None of my dogs (or most of our cats) care about the laser light at all. If, however, someday someone invents a little 3d projection of a running deer... well, then we'll be off to the races! :D

Neon adored the laser, and would happily wander all over the apartment after it. Poor little fellow was so confused when he would try and bite it, only to have it myseriously appear on his nose or paw.
Argon wouldn't even get off the bed for it. He would just look at me like "Yeah, Mom, not going to happen", then at Neon like "Moron."
Puss would play, but only after coming up and touching the pointer itself, just so we both knew that he wasn't fooled at all, and knew that Mommy provided the light for his Highness's Pleasure.

oh... we are DONE with that for sure!

She has never shown any OCD tendencies with anything else so I didnt think about it, but now that I see how it affected her, that is one toy she will not be playing with.
