MY son has three friends that were shot last night, one girl in particular has been his close friend since just about forever. I don't know the whys or who did it, or even which one has passed. I only know that one is dead. They were all together last night too. So if you can, send a prayer up for the two survivors. They are both in critical condidtion. My son is on the way to the hospital now. Tina, patrick and Godog. Will come back when i know more.

My son just called, they won't give up any info because it is a criminal investigation. THere wer 4 there, two males, two females. One female has died, and it was Patrick that passed so a baby lost his father. We don't know if Tina is the girl that has passed or not.

these are all young people, my son is 19. I can't imagine why! I tried to look up the news report but didn't find anything on line. I keep thinking how Tina was always the one Aaron could call on, even last week when my battery was dead and i was suppose to pick him up at work, right around midnight. I called his work and left a message. Since i didn't hear any more from him i figured he got a ride home. It was bitter cold too. I asked the next morning how he got home, and he said Tina picked me up. THey could call on each other like that.

mom just called and the news said two males have passed, so Aaron's info was wrong. The females are in life threating or critical, mom couldn't remember exactly what they said.

One killed, three wounded in home invasion
The Kansas City Star
One man was killed and three other persons were wounded in a home-invasion shooting in Kansas City early Monday morning.

Police said two gunmen entered the house in the 4200 block of Northeast 44th Street shortly before 12:30 a.m. and shot all four adults inside.

The slain victim was dead when police arrived. Another man and two women who were wounded were taken to area hsopitals with life-threatening injuries. Neighbors told investigators that the men were residents of the home.

Tina was shot in the face, and will be allowed to go soon. Please send prayers for her family, her friends, that will all suffer because of a senseless crime. Please pray they catch the two men and make them pay for what they have done. She is a good girl, she has been a good friend to my son, a best friend, and i have no words that could bring comfort to him.
The other Girl Angela, is passed, patrick has passed. They believe the one man, that i do not know, will pull through.

So sad, Smkie. Prayers for those who have passed and their family and friends and for Tina, the surviving lad and for your son too who will go through so much with Tina as she recovers. What a senseless and useless waste of young lives.
