I have never celebrated halloween and I don't mind that one bit. Some people think I'm somehow missing out on something...what, cavities? I don't see anything wrong with my family not celebrating the "holiday" and I'm not against anyone who celebrates it. I have friends who celebrate it and I could care less whether they celebrate a "holiday" where you dress up in a costume and get candy or not.
Is it just personal belief or is a religious belief?
Either way my mom took me out when I was little but as soon as I was old enough to decide for myself I stopped going. I take my girls out but when they get old enough it will be their choice. No need to force anything on anyone, as far as I am concerned. I use to take Jessie out my doggie, but I think it may be best to not take out Yukon. Traumatize the poor pup. Not sure what Dallas will be like, will decide on her when we get to know her better, might just wait until next year to decide for her too.
