I prefer to think of myself as a 'lunch' person. :D

I'm up by 4:15am during the week and out at the barn by 4:30. Weekends, I'll sleep in 'til 6am but I still wake up at 4:15, even with the alarm turned off. No problem going back to sleep, though!

I'm very much a morning person, I HATE sleeping in. I get out of bed at 6:45 a.m., get dressed, get John up for work, and head outside to feed horses. I'm in the saddle by 7:30, and ride for awhile. Then I come inside and get everything done. I just have so much more energy early in the mornings.

I'm ALWAYS more tired when I get up in the mornings than I am when I go to bed at night. I get up every morning for work at 7:30-8:00, and still, if I don't set an alarm I'll sleep till about 10:00. Doesn't matter when I go to bed. It's kinda annoying, especially when I stay at a hotel or something, I'm terribly paranoid about not waking up when I need to. I even set my alarm so that I'll get up around 8 or 9 on the weekends, otherwise I won't be able to sleep at night and then Monday mornings are REALLY bad.

When I taught training classes (which were held at night), I'd work about noon to 9:00 every day, which was a schedule I LOVED as far as sleeping. I never had to set an alarm, and always got up on time! But I didn't like working so late cause I could never do anything after work. Now I work a normal schedule (9-5 ish), and even though it's harder to get up in the mornings, I do like it a lot better.

NO! God no! :p

I have to wake up at 8am 2 days a week for school, and to me, it might as well be 4am--it's just way too early.

Next semester my earliest class is at 12:30 lol. And even THAT kind of bums me out. :p

Weekends, I don't wake up until about 11/11:30, at the earliest.

Morning? What is this morning you speak of? I don't believe I've ever seen one.

That's gonna be a no. I'm good about it - I CAN get up early - but I sure as hell don't enjoy it most days, unless it's sunny - if it's not I just want to crawl bakc into bed. The only nice thing about waking up early is the SUNRISE.

I like getting up early...once I'm up. LOL
The actual act of getting my carcass out of bed is hard as crap. I hate sleeping in though.

I didn't used to be a movie, but now that I work an 8-4 job... my body refuses to sleep later than 7:30!

It really depends on the situation. There are mornings when I can get up with the sunrise and just sit with a cup of coffee/hot chocolate on the deck for hours. Dog shows I have little problem getting up for and those are EARLY! Given the choice though, I'd rather sleep until the sun is high in the sky.

I used to be a night person, but I've adapted to getting up in the mornings . . . just need my coffee. Even on the weekends, I usually wake up "in time for work" although I don't go in to the office on weekends (though I often work). Besides, if I tried to sleep in, the furry alarm clock would tell me she had to pee in more and more urgent ways . . .

I am so NOT a morning person. I do everything at night. I shop at night, I it clean at night. I work at night..the only time I can force myself to get up early is if its to go to the river lol. Then its easy for my to get up. When I was getting my CNA license I had to get up early for class every day for 3 months, and I actually did enjoy it, I got a lot done, even after I was tired from school/clinical. But I always end up getting back onto a night schedule very shortly.

My internal clock is set to night, hate getting up, love to sleep in the mornings. But having said that, I have spent most of my life getting up early. Hell by 9 am I could have all the critters fed, 2 or more horses trained and some stalls mucked (how many depended on whether I had groomers or not). Plus get the kid up and off to school, but that usually put my time line back 1 1/2 hrs.
My body wants to take a nap in the afternoon, but if I don't get it, no worries.....by 6 pm I am in full wake mode again which causes a problem because I can stay up to at least midnight or longer.

:rofl1: I can remember the days were I started riding at 6 am, rode 16 to 22 a day and if needed then stay up all night foaling mares. All I needed was a couple of hours of sleep in the evening and I was good to go....I expect that would kill me now :rofl1: Actually I KNOW it would!!

Coffee, got to have coffee, love it. And no obstacle is big enough to keep me away from it, especially in the morning.

Yes, I am one of the dreaded Morning People. Mocked by the "regular" people. We are especially unpopular in the Morning.:) The second my eyes open I am ready to Go. I feel somewhat sorry for my unmorning person hubby. He is still not completely used to this after years of it.:)

What I will never understand is that there seem to be way more of Us than there are of Them (Morning People), so why is the world running on their schedule instead of ours?

Oh. Yah. They got up ahead of us and took over the place . . .

Told ya we never should have gone to bed that night . . . .

I picked this one: "I can force myself to get up, but God help anyone in my way."

If I have to get up at 7am or earlier, STAY AWAY FROM ME until about two hours later when I have completely awoken if you want to keep your extremities intact. In the early morning, I am a dam grouch. :p

I have to be in work by 8:45am every morning, so I force myself to be a morning person. I'm horrible about getting out of bed, though... I usually drag myself out of bed and relax on the couch with a cup of coffee before I even start getting ready for work.

On the weekends I'll sleep in somewhere between 8-9am.
