are there a such thing as red/Blue nosed pitbulls?

I don't think there is a such thing. I think it is a colour name that people just made up! What do you guys think?

yes i have a red nosed. and im pretty sure theres a such thing as a blue nose but right now i wouldnt trust that from me lol. i havent slept all day

there are pit bulls who have red noses and pit bulls who have blue noses. and pit bulls who have black noses and liver noses and speckled noses.

they're all just pit bulls.

The site you posted doesn't say that red-nosed and blue-nosed don't exist - just that they aren't a special type; they are just another color.

I used to house-sit for a gorgeous red-nosed female who was rescued very young from a breeder who bred for fights. She was the most beautiful dog I've seen, and made me fall in love with the breed. I'd own one in a heartbeat if I owned my own property.

they are blue nosed but it is jsut a charecteristic like the red nose. ts just like fur color and i never said they were more special

As far as I know, "rednose" is actually a specific pitbull bloodline (more specifically "Old Family Red Nose" if I'm not mistaken) as well as a color descriptive.

I think the whole "blue nose" thing is probably a fad spinoff, just like breeding for the blue color itself.

mordy, their are people who prefer red nose and some who prefer black nose and blue nose. I prefer red nose and have ahd a blue nose. Its not that they are different dogs its just their look. Like some people prefer yellow labs, i prefer red nose pits.

yeah, there's the OFRN line, but there are tons of lines of pit bulls, many with red noses.
