Today my family and I took a trip to the Morton Arboretum. If anyone is ever in the Chicago area you should visit it, its spectacular. I was experimenting with my D40 on manual today, it was fun!

WARNING-There are alot, please don't post until I'm finished!

A nice couple there found a turtle in the middle of a trail, and decided to set him back in the water because he was vulnerable out there. He was quite cute!

Scenery

A new thing this place has done is installed these giant bug sculptures. They're pretty cool in person.

I won't bore you with anymore sculptures, but some of the others included a dragonfly, spider on a web, and a bee. There were probably more too,

And a random flower table thing,

the purple one with the cool "fuzzy" inside is a clematis, a double bloom, i dont know the actual name because there are TONS of different clematis, the ones in the same grouping are also clematis...there some of my absoute favorite vines.
the dark purple below the double is clematis jakmanii and the pink is clematis nelly moser
i have jackmanii, nelly moser and a pink one i can never remmeber the name of and then swet autum clematis all grwoing togehter intermingled on either side of my french doors...they all bloom at slightly different times so i have color from mid spring all the way through the tiny star shaped flowers of sweet autum till late fall! LOVE cleamtis!

not sure what the blue one is...ill have to take a look.
the first yellow one is coriopsis, that stuff flowers like crazy! lol
