I know now, I am an idiot. We have been dealing with fleas for a couple months and I wasn't thinking and gave dog a bath immediately after I applied Frontline. He still has fleas crawling all over me, should I reapply the Frontline? It has been 5 days. I was going to wait until at least two weeks but we just flea bombed our house yesterday and treated our yard and we don't want to re-infest the house since they are still on our animal. I believe I probably washed off the application but I don't want to overdose my animal. Please someone respond. This is my third post and still no responses. PLEASE!

Not a whole lot of people spend their Sunday nights answering questions on a forum; you often will have to wait 24 hours or so to get a response.

As I mentioned in your other thread, you shouldn't bathe the dog the day before or the day after giving topical flea treatments; I give it at least two or three days just to be safe. If you applied the Frontline and gave him a bath that same day, I'd suggest reapplying the treatment again.

Reapply it. Frontline is waterproof, but ONLY after it's been allowed to disperse and fully dry. You shouldn't give a bath the day before applying Frontline either, as it washes off all the oils, and the Frontline is dispersed through the oils in the skin. The manufacturer says no baths 24 hours before or after, but I always recommends at least 2 days before and after.

Frontline is pretty safe as far as dosing goes. A lot of people apply it every 2 weeks with no adverse effects (I personally don't recommend it). Since you washed all the initial dose off, there should be no problem reapplying now.

Probably no problem with reapplying at once. I'd check with the vet, though, just to be on the safe side.
