Anyone out there own a doggy day care

Hi everyone. My friend and I are looking into everything we possibly can get our hands on concerning starting and running a doggy day care business.

She is a breeder already and is going to school to be certified as a trainer.

Any info that anyone could share on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! Just saw your post. Go to the ABKA (American Boarding Kennel Assoc.) website and look up forms for daycare programs. You should be able to find info. about set up, sanitation issues, staffing, licensing, insurance, ect. You'll also need to call your county/city licensing debt. and see what they require other than a state license and tax i.d reg. Good luck!

Check out the dog daycare list on yahoogroups. (just type in dogdaycare on yahoo and the group comes right up on the first page)

They have tons of info regarding starting up a new DDC.
