I have this horrible knack of saying the complete wrong this at the wrong time. I have the ability to silence a room and cause mass discomfort. I really don't mean to do this but I do.

I blurt out the most innapropriate things and then feel like a real arse afterwards. I have tried slowing down and thinking about things before I say them but it has not worked.

This is causing me really unhappiness and I was just wondering if I am the only socially inept fool on the planet or are there other besides George W and I that make fools of themselves on a regular basis?

What should I do????

Quite often for me...

I have a bad problem with my humor. I seem to tell myself that everyone will take my jokes, or whatever. Often people get mad at me over that. Then there is my rudeness... I am a VERY rude girl. I say my please's and Thank you's, but I am one to tell rude, nasty jokes, I often call people names (but they are soley pet names!! Never meant to do harm!) Things of that sort...

I have a bad problem with stuttering when I don't think about what I am saying as well... though it doesn't make my family uncomfortable, iy makes others who don't understand me comfortable...

C-C-Catch my drift?

It's such a common thing, called, I think, footinmouthitis. I have it and I know of several other people who do too. I'd love to give you tips on how to deal with it, but I haven't figured that one out for myself yet! What's worse is when it happens, and I keep talking to try to somehow make it better, ugh! I've considered carrying a sock in my pocket, and a brown bag, but my husband seems to think standing there with a sock in my mouth and brown paper bag over my head would be MORE embarassing. Dunno, told him I'd draw some famous hot chick on the bag, but he didn't seem to think that would be much better.

*sigh*, guess all you can do is apologize and keep in mind that it happens to everybody at one time or another.

Well, thatnk the pope I am not the only one. It really makes me upset though. I have managed to make the BF brother hate me, and large crowds of people wince and say ouch!

I think if my foot was more wedged in my mouth it would be poking out my bum!
