NO. Winter begins in like October around here! We've barely gotten into the 90s this year! It was like 60 the other day. I haven't worn a skirt or shorts yet. Anytime it finally starts to hit 90-100 it starts the whole End-of-the-World Thunderstorm crap.

I'm sure it will be warmer when we go south, though.

Zander hasn't even finished blowing his coat yet. It started around mid-June. I think he's confused by this weather.

Just another reason why I wish I could move to Montana! lol

I cannot WAIT for fall. It's my absolute favourite season, when done correctly :rofl1: Followed by winter!

Yes! It's been 110+ around here and it's making the thunderstorms HORRIBLE. We've had two power outages, 3 electrical storms, and two tornado landings in the past two weeks! Screw this! I just hope a hurricane doesn't get in the gulf...because if so, I'm out of here. Fall doesn't start until November here, and we don't really have a Winter.

I haven't minded this summer; even with the super hot days we've had, both Meg and Gusto will still go on a decent hike/swim. But this is the first year I've ever been dying for it to be over. Gusto can't compete until at least November, and I'm twitching waiting for it to get here! Forget fall - bring on winter!

Yes and no. Summer means Dock Diving trials, and pool fun. But it also means no walks, no woods, no fields, really. 110 heat index is just way too hot.

However, Fall means long walks and jogging in the woods and fields. AND MORE HERDING! But no Dock Diving.

Love/hate relationship, I guess? :p

I'm still really active in the summer, I just don't bring Seamus out with me when it's stinkin hot. Usually I'll take him out in the evenings when it's a bit cooler. I love the summer and hot weather, so no, I'm in no rush to make it to fall. :)

However, I am more than ready for fall television. :D

My car read 111 degrees yesterday... I've been done with summer since it started. I loves me my winter.

No!! Fall means winter is coming! There is seriously nothing I love more than sitting I'm the shade in my backyard with my feet in a kiddie pool while the dogs sleep on the patio. In fact that's what I'm doing right now!

Now that Finnegan is three, and has truly inherited his full coat that his grandpa has, and being black factored, he abhors hot days. He lasts ten minutes at a time on 30 degree celcius and hotter days. And I've yet to get him to like being in water. Therefore, unless I hose him, which I often do, hot days are annoying for the both of us.

I am so jealous of all you northerners. One day I will move up north. I love winter and hate the heat. Oklahoma is not the place to live for that.

Temp this next week is over 100 all week. :( My dogs do okay in the heat if I give them a lot of water and a lot of breaks but I miss getting to go hiking and stuff.

I love the summer but lately it's just been way too hot, last week it was in the 90s almost every day (yes, that counts as very hot for NY). The dogs tolerate heat ok but are really cold weather dogs. Is it weird that I can't wait for winter?

Not really, it doesn't get too hot here in the summer and I live in Northwest Montana. :) It starts snowing in October here... so yeah my dogs and I aren't ready. I hate long winters and am really enjoying the summer weather since it doesn't get too hot!

Ugh, today is gross. It's "only" 85 but the humidity is sooo gross. It's just so sticky.

I would love to live in Colorado one day. I loooveee it there weatherwise. My uncle lives out there.

Jackson would stay out in snow all day long. But in the summer, the only way he enjoys being outdoors a lot is if he's soaking wet.

The only thing I dislike is getting dark early. Really depressing.

Anybody here live in Oregon? That's where I want to eventually move.
Guilty ;)

This 74 degree weather is just killing me :p Completely serious - anything near 80 is a heat wave, and 70s is uncomfortably warm. I'm not enjoying the clear skies and harsh sun, either. We did have some drizzle a day or two ago, though.

Low 60s, overcast, and breezy is my ideal. And Trent's a winter/snow dog at heart!
