Try doing a search for Boxer rescues in your area. You might talk to the local vets as well. Sometimes people who have to re-home a dog will ask their vet to help.

I doubt if you can find a free dog anywhere.....if there's a " free to a good home " ad...there has to be a problem. People would give to a rescue to assure a good home. Could you fill us in more on whom it's for and why ???

I know in my area, dogs with certain disabilities, injuries, or old age are paid for by the S.A.I.N.T.S program.

You can look at petfinder.com or contact rescues in your area, but it's unlikely that it will be free. And they usually don't give pups to people who want to adopt for someone else.

May I ask why you are looking for a free puppy? If you don't have the money to buy a dog then don't get a dog because the expensive part is the vet bills, supplies, food and toys, not the purchase price!

The only 'free' dogs I've found to be decent are those farm dogs that crop up out in the country.

I doubt you're going to find a free boxer that's worth having. Maybe under 200, but not free.

Maybe Dream is just looking for a free dog before spending the money...I mean, if I could have gotten Raika for free, I would have done it. Just because he's (or she-sorry, I don't know) asking about a free dog doesn't mean he doesn't have the money to care for it.

Dream did say it was for someone else...not himself or herself...my guess it's for a birthday gift. Dogs can be almost as expensive as children...vet bills, food, toys, things like that much less can tear up everything. Just make sure that whoever the puppy is for if you find one that they have patience and means to take care of it. A dog will love you and be loyal til the day they die. They only deserve to be loved back and taken care of. Good Luck!!!! By the way i have a boxer/pit mix. He was free only because he isn't full blood. But he favors more of his boxer side. You might find more luck getting a mixed breed if you want a free puppy. Very rarley will you find a free boxer or any full blooded breed for that matter.
