I am so fed up......we are now in our second day without water to flush toilets, shower, wash-up etc, it's in the high nineties and to make matters worse we have guests staying. For the first time today I really just wanted to be back in the UK.....we've just recovered from two really stressful weeks with my sister staying, which nearly caused me & Bill to have major fall outs - so anybody got any good news, funny stories or jokes...to stop me going crazy??

True, I'm so tired, and then to top it all off we've found out today that all our business data and files from our pc, which crashed last week are lost, we were hoping they could get them back.....good job I've got Chaz to mooche about on, takes my mind off it all! Oh, how I am dreaming of a nice shower though.............

I'd probably clear the pool, lol.

Well some plumbers have arrived, finally, they don't look like they know what the problem is, but at least they are here..........I've taken Misha to the groomers, so at least someone in the house will be clean and sweet smelling tonight.

I put a joke in the Joke forum/thread today, called seeing eye dogs.

I don't know about much about Spain but maybe there are truck stops/travel centers like here in the states that have showers in them you could use.

Martine,
I know just how you feel. A couple of summers ago, a really HOT summer mind you, we kept losing our electricity because the township kept allowing more and more subdivisions in our area, and the electric company could not handle all the new homes. SO, everytime it got hot, everyone would turn on their air and then a lot of people who lose power. I was SO mad that summer. It would be bad enough that it was so hot, then you could'nt even turn a fan on! And we have well water, so: no power = no water. I still get mad thinking about it, how could the "people in charge" be so dumb as to not realize there was not enough power in the area for all the homes they were building?

Anyway, sorry for ranting there but I just know how much it sucks to go without! Good luck!

OH, that sucks. I feel for you though. Our air-conditioner BARELY works and we rely mostly on the fans to keep our house cool. We have water though.
