Anybody been on a cruise?

Tommarrow I leave Santa Cruz for Long Beach to go on a three day cruise to Ensanada, Mexico!! Woohooo! I've never been on a cruise but I just know I'm going to love it! Me and 15 other girls are setting sail for a Bachelorette Party at sea Have any of you been on one? Likes? Dislikes? Advice?

Me, my parents and my sister went for a cruise on the Disney Cruise Line. We went to the Bahamas and to Disney's own island right near the Bahamas. I was about 18 or so years old, and I found it a little boring actually. They had stuff for the adults, for the little kids, and for the teeny boppers, but they didn't have really anything for the people in between. Some of it was nice though, like looking out over the ocean as we sailed, and going snorkling on Disney's island.

One thing about the Disney Cruiseline is they feed you like there's no tomorrow! A big buffet breakfast and lunch, and all day bar by the pool that serves ice cream, chicken tenders, french fries, and various drinks (food is included, drinks are extra) a dinner in one of four fancy resaurants on the ship that you must dress for, and hors deurves (sp?) at night. You couldn't go hungry on that ship, it was plain impossible!

I went on a cruise to Bermuda ..... really just a boat trip ....60 years ago . I have no desire to go again . i'd rather spend my time and $$ at a beach !

I absolutely love cruising--I think it is the best way to travel

Things I love

1. Food food food--you can ask for 5 lobster tails for dinner if you'd like and they will happily bring them out--and no cost!
2. Getting to see so many exotic places in such a short amount of time.
3. Exploring the ship--finding all the lounges, doing all of the activities like sharades ect.
4. The entertainment--we had comedy troup Second City on our last cruise
5. The food--did I mention Chocolate buffet, as much room service as you want 24 hrs a day, soft serve machines ect?

You will have a ball ! But to me it's a floating Holiday Inn . Weird in my old age !!!
