Any products that remove urine smell?

Searching all over the net I came across two products that claim to eliminate urine odor from carpets:

Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover and Urine-Off.

The first one comes in spray bottles, and big jugs, while the second comes in spray bottle with some uv light. Anyone know if this stuff actually works?

After further searching it says that Urine-Off can worsen the smell if the stain is old, and requires several applications as a result. Meanwhile Nature's Miracle only removes smell from the surface, and not from sub-flooring.

Also read about color safe bleach.. Any thoughts on that?

How about Odo-ban?

I used to clean carpets profesionally and imo the sprays from shops are inadequate for such a job.You need a carpet cleaning machine either the cerculated water type or the steam type,you can hire these machines but if you don`t know what your doing you can damage your carpet.I`d recomend you hire a professional,they usually charge by the square metre so you can decide how much needs done.

Nature's Miracle is pretty good, we have a carpet cleaner because we do petsitting but Nature's Miracle is pretty good we have the large gallon with a spray handle attached to it.

Already tried professional carpet cleaners. They came over, washed a rug... now it's pretty much ruined because even though they washed it on two separate occasions, all it pretty much did was scatter the odor causing agents around the thing. Now whenever it's humid, the thing lets out a smell from time to time. I really do not want to do the same thing with my carpet since it's much bigger compared to the rug.
