It's probably green in the morning only because your morning pee is usually more concentrated. Can you get into an urgent care? You really shouldn't wait that long with a UTI because it can just keep getting worse and worse. I can see why you would have to wait for an appointment for a pap because those are a bit longer appointments, but you shouldn't have to wait that long to get in for a UTI. It should be a quick, easy office visit. Call back and see if you can get an earlier appointment just for your UTI symptoms. If not, go to an urgent care.

Really does sound like a kidney infection from the description of your pain. Could you pick up a kit at the pharmacy and do a sample yourself or just take a sterile bottle and bring it to the ER of your hospital? I know you're stuck in a tight spot but there has to be someone who can see you for an emergency. What about the after hours clinics, would they even bother with a sample? If your pee turns orange you'll know it's too much bilirubin which would be your liver or pancreas but the way the pain is described it sounds more like a kidney infection. I hope I'm wrong, good luck.

Thanks you 2.

I'm actually sitting in bed all day because the cramping is so fsckin bad. I woke up crying and curled into a ball this morning.
Dad isn't home, but when he gets back I've GOT to go in.

I had a UTI a couple of years ago that I avoided and avoided treating for probably more than a week. I finally went to the emergency room when I had a fever through the rough and my entire body was wracked with muscle spasms and crippling pain. It spread to my kidneys.

Not entirely sure why I let it go that long...partially, I guess, becuase I was in a foreign country and scared to deal with a foreign medical system...

I will say, though, that the first doctor I saw just asked me what was wrong, I said I had a UTI and he sent me home with antibiotics. 12 hours later I was emergency bound and was in the ER overnight on IV antibiotics and painkillers I was in such bad shape.

Soooo...make sure you find someone who's going to take it seriously! It won't get better on its own. Keep that in mind.

I learned that the hard way. D'oh.

Hope you're feeling better soon.

I've had a kidney infection once, I felt horrible. The doctors don't mess around when it comes to kidney infections, mine wanted me to be hospitalized and only OKed me going home just as long as I drank lots of water and took my antibiotics without vomiting, if I did get ill then it was straight to the hospital I went. I was able to keep my fluids in so it was not needed.

Sorry its taken so long.
I went up there earlier and sat outside there door for an hour while they were at lunch (I got there lunch break confused with my old doctor's, and I walked there since they are barely even half a mile from my grandma's house). And when the front desk lady came back she asked what I needed and I told her I needed to be seen TODAY. She looked at me and said that I could not been seen today and the lady that does pap smears would not be back til next Wednesday (which is when my appointment is). I told her to just get me in to draw blood and look at my symptoms...
She walked IN the doctor's office, LOOKED at me, then CLOSED the door.
HOW FSCKING RUDE IS THAT?!?!?!
My dad is going to talk to them tomorrow since I went while he was at work (he said it was okay).
I'm going to call my original doctor tomorrow and see if they can get me in tomorrow or Friday. My cramping has not been happening today but my pee is still a faint, cloudy, yellow color which is still bothering me alot.

Im BEYOND pissed at that lady. My dad is not going to be happy when he goes and talks to her.

It's weird to me that they won't test for a urinary tract or kidney infection now and schedule the pap for later. You could, while waiting on your appt. pick up one of those home test kits for urinary tract infections. Maybe the results of one of those would cause the receptionist to be a bit more attentive

Man, that is beyond rude. I've never encountered being refused by a doctor when something severe was going on. I can't believe this woman actually deals with the public.

You gotta do something because if it is an infection in your urinary tract... it's just going to get worse. You could end up with pylenephritis which is very painful. Kidney stones are usually very painful as well.. but you will often see some blood tinged urine with kidney stones because as the stones pass through the ureters they can cause some tissue damage which can result in that little bit of blood tinged urine. Does your urine have a foul odor to it? It really does sound like a UTI and I can't believe that doctor's office won't even see you. All they'd have to do is get a urine sample from you... run it and write you a prescription for an antibiotic. I hope your dad raises heck at that office.
