we are building a house and two weeks ago when we went there the builders said she showed up three days before that and she didn't leave I put up signs and took a picture to the animal shelters but no luck finding owner even ran an ad in the papper she is very friendly but her paw is as big as my hand she loves my kids and looks to be in very good health I am going to take her to the vet this week I took som pictures to vet offices around here and no one knows who she is so I am tring to figure out what she is and then I am going to have her spayed and find a home for her but if anyone has any ideas of what she is thanks I thought at first Huskey but she is really big the pictures don't really show her size but any way thanks for any input she in very pretty and I would love to keep her but I have enough animals that own me

She could be a Malmute if she's larger in size. But she looks more like a Huskey to me with that mask on her face.

Husky something...there's a cast to her features that suggests something else mixed in and I almost want to say a small percentage of wolf perhaps? But maybe she's just a really out of standard Husky.

We checked for mico chip there wasn't one. The shelter wanted me to leave her there but we don't have a no kill shelter close to us and our shelter is nasty. Thats were I had her checked for the chip I am taking her to the vets on thurs i am going to have them check too I have not had one reply on my flyers I put up and it been almost 2 weeks how long should I give them i put up 50 in every vets office and in several gas stations and any were else I could think of I was hoping to get a response but nothing yet she also had no collar of any kind. my husband also said he thought she looked as if she maybe a wolf mix which is pretty popular around here but like I said I have no clue her paw is as large as the palm of my hand . Thanks for the input

id say husky/mal and german shepard, perhaps a VERY small percentage wolf, but the wolf dogs tend to be warey/submissive of strangers and she doesnt seem to be shy in any way shape or form :)
gorgeous girl!

Husky x Mal possibly with something else. She looks more husky to me, but the tail reminds me of a mal and if she's bigger, perhaps she's a malamute cross. I really can't see any GSD, but that's just me. I could go with some wolf in there as well. Something about her face structure and eyes reminds me of some wolf crosses I've known.

Yea!! A happy ending. Makes me smile all over.

I'm glad there was a caring person like you to go through all the efforts of getting the word out that she'd been found. And Oregon!! Wow! That's far!

What a great story! I bet her family just can't believe their good fortune- I know if I were in their position, I'd feel so blessed. Kudos for taking such good care of a lost girl. :)

I was going to agree that there was something about her expression and eye placement that said wolf was in there somewhere...

So glad she was found and is coming back to join us here in Oregon! :)
