Any breed guesses on Gracie?

Hound/mystery mutt. I do think there's hound in there. But you want my honest opinion? That's what I'd call a mutt. Not a mix. A mutt. Gracie's just . . . a dog! Ancestory unknown, unknowable, and irrelevant . . .and she looks like thousands of other dogs of the same myterious origin.

I was thinking Swissie mix, too. Actually, the more I looked at her picture, the more I thought GSMD/GSD mix. But she is small for that mix. Her size fall within the rage of the Appenzell Mountain Dog. The dog in this link looks a lot like Gracie.

They're pretty uncommon, too, but there's always a chance that what she's mixed with. And heck, given ho uncommon they are, the shelter may not have known about it.

Wow! she looks so much like Bella, put the pics side by side and you would think they were sisters. Bella came from a shelter where she was listed as a GSD mix; they didn’t know what the mix was. My guess is Rottie, I have seen dogs on Pet finder listed as GSD Rottie mix and some were very similar to Bella. But in the end all we can do is guess.

I have seen pics of the Greater Swiss Mt dog and the Appenzeller and thought how much she looked like them.
We adopted her form Bainbridge, Ga. She and her sister (who was listed as a golden retriever) were the last of a whole litter that was brought in.
Sparks, I'm honestly not sure how she normally holds her tail. I would say down mostly when she's just walking around.

I was thinking that too at first... but there has to be something else as well... where would the white come from? but I definitely see some kind of coonhound in there... Teddy was very slender and had a similar shape to his face and he was mixed with a lab so he had ears on the smaller side....
I asked about the tail because Teddy would mostly hold his tail up in the air curving slightly over his butt when he was more alert....
kinda looked in the one picture like she might have had her tail up like that but I couldn't see the whole tail.
