Antibiotics causing vomiting... suggestions??

I'm hoping someone has a good trick to help to ease tummy troubles caused by antibiotics. My Poodle has been throwing up when she takes antibiotics, and I've tried everything I can think of to help, but no luck. Before I adopted her, she had an ear ablation surgery where they close off the ear canals on dogs who have severe chronic ear infections. Unfortunately, the surgery was successful on only one ear and a tiny pinhole opened up in the other ear, which has left it highly susceptible to more infection... ugh! We need to get the infection under control before deciding whether to keep her on permanent antibiotics or to try to re-do the surgery on that ear, so I have to figure out a way to help the poor baby to keep her meds down!

I had the vet change her to another antibiotic, which also makes her throw up, and these are the only two antibiotics that can treat the particularly nasty bacteria that's taken up residence in her ear, so there's not an option of changing to another med. Injectable antibiotics aren't an option, since she'll need to be on the antibiotics long-term.

I've tried experimenting with giving it with and without food in her stomach, I'm giving her probiotics, I've tried giving her some Pepcid to help to soothe her stomach. Nothing seems to help! If anyone knows of anything that might help, I'd be eternally grateful!

What has your vet suggested? Obviously it's not working if she's throwing it all up and she won't get better anyways. This is a hard spot to be in! Have you tried pumpkin? How about feeding her and then giving her the antibiotic a little bit later? To let the food settle?

My vet says there aren't really any other options, and just suggested experimenting with feeding times, etc. I thought I'd found a way that worked, since we had a few good days where I gave her the meds about 2 hrs. after eating, but now she's vomiting again.

I'm going to try lowering the dosage and building back up to the full dose again. With any luck the topical antibiotics (I have to put them in her ear with a catheter... eeek!) will do the trick and we can eliminate the oral meds at some point.
