my lexies seems to get loose stools if i let her chew on a raw bone all after noon, probably not until the next day. but i was also giving her a vitamin supplement. i quit those (maybe they were the culprit) what i would like to know is if i let her chew on it for a couple hours , then put it back in freezer?
let her chew on couple of hours next day then thats it for the week. she gets it on the weekend. but she likes to lick out all the barrow out firsr, before she starts her chewing. they are small bones i get from the butcher. any ideas on how i can give them to her with out getting loose poops that she cant hold and has accident while iam at work. thanks!!!!!!

Just remove most of the marrow before giving it. If you give them often you might try slowly (very slowly) leaving more of the marrow.

The marrow is likely the loose poop culprit. I would scoop some of the marrow out until her system accepts it better. The more frequently you give her these bones with a small amout of marrow, the more quickly her system will adjust. As time goes on, leave a bit more of the marrow in.
