So the grooming board on here is quite dead so I hope it's ok to put it here. If not you can move it there.
Gave Stryder a hair cut yesterday. The lighting was HORRIBLE in my basement (can't wait to get my salon), and I had to use a regular human hair dryer on this terrible stand. Plus my scissors need sharpening (bad me I know) But here is a before and after.

Before

After
His but looks really funny (sticky outy) yet it is the same as the rest of his hair so don't know why.
So if you guys want to critique (keep in mind that the conditions were not great) go right ahead!

If that is what you can do with bad lighting, a human blow-dryer, and dull scissors.... you are AMAZING. His coat looks gorgeous, and the clip is so lovely. And your dog has such a lovely face. :D

thanks guys, it took forever though with that lighting, i kept moving the table, changing sides, trying to look at him from higher, anything to try and lessen the shadows but it never helped!

I think he looks pretty **** good. Personally I prefer the ears and tail to be a bit less poofy (yes, that's a technical term, LOL) but that's just personal preference and I think the cut you chose was very well executed.

I wish you had your salon. Just got Jessie done at a new place Saturday, and they gave her an uneven cut, and instead of a smooth muzzle which I prefer, they gave her this Scottie looking mustache. I am taking her back to get her redone. I don't like the Senor looking stache.

Gorgeous! Heck! You could do that blind folded. Great job. I love Poodles and I want one some day. I don't know where you live, but I'd bring a dog to you any day. He's really stunning!

Thanks guys, poodles are the most amazing dogs! It absolutely kills me watching people get those 'doodle' things b/c they want all the qualities of a poodle without having a poodle!!! arrg! Poodles rule!!
