Another newbie

Hi everyone! I was led to this site by Borzoimom, and I see there are some familar names around here.

I live in good ol' Colorado with 3 wonderful dogs, and 3 wonderful horses. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.

I will go ahead an introduce the dog pack, pictures with a short description on them.

First up is Aspen, she is 3 years old and a rough collie. She is the sophisticated dog out of the bunch, and the one who tells the rest what to do(or what not to do). She is very sweet, but loves her independence.

Next is 10 month old Riley(born July 24th, 2007). He is my goofy boy, who is full of personality. I call him my 'happy' guy as he always has a smile on his face, and he tends to make everyone around him laugh. He loves to be loved. I hope to work towards his CGC this year, and see if he has what it takes to go on to Therapy work and testing for it.

And lastly is little Peaches. She is my 'velcro' dog and is 7 this year. Like a typical sheltie, she is my 'little human' and is very smart. She doesn't think she is small, and has a bit of a dominant personality when it comes to other dogs(confident to say the least).

Well those are the three amigos. I hope to meet all of your wonderful pups as well

All three are gorgeous! I love love love collies, and rough collies are beautiful, but I can't deal with the hair, so any future collies of mine will be smooth.

Hey, welcome to Chaz! You have a wonderful group of dogs. Your collies are especially beautiful! I have had rough collies for 35 years and have just one right now. My last few collies have been therapy dogs and I also have done obedience, freestyle (dance), rally, and flyball. I'm in San Diego, but originally from Michigan. Is your crew from a breeder or rescue?

Laurelin, Since you mentioned more pictures...I guess I will have to now LOL

KidsandDogs, your collie is absolutely beautiful(one pictured in the avatar?)!! I would love to see more pictures if you have any. Sounds like you have accomplished a lot with your dogs over the years, I hope to venture out and try things with Riley...I think just getting his CGC is a good 'first goal'(for both of us!)! I hope to get him into agility when he is a bit older as well, just for fun.

Both the collies are from seperate breeders.

Don't worry, I am not running from the law ...still part of the 'other' place, but happy to venture out and meet even MORE wonderful dog people!

Peaches is a real sweet dog, she knows she gets just about anything!
