I would not normally speak for Carrie, or for anyone, but I let her know that there was a very nice thread here for Lyric and she wanted to respond but did not feel like she could come back to this forum so she asked that I respond for her.
Carrie had tried to answer some of your PMs but found that her PM privelages had been removed, along with her mod status, even though she had broken no rules of this forum. She had done nothing wrong, other than express her opinion in regard to puppymillers and dog abusers being part of the forum, which she felt was wrong. The next thing she knew she was stripped of her mod status and her PM privelages were taken away. So, she has decided to no longer be part of this forum but she very much appreciates all of your kind thoughts.
For those of you who don't know, Lyric got a case of terrible diarrhea and Carrie ended up rushing him to the ER vet. It was found that he had stomach cancer and he was PTS that night. As I'm sure you can imagine, this is a terrible, terrible time for Carrie so if you have it in your hearts to send her some good thoughts, she can use them right now.

Carrie.. I am so terribly sorry for you. Words don't even begin. Lyric has been in my thoughts daily since you left, and I've often wondered how he was doing. Middie's licked away some of my tears.. I hope your pack will do the same.

Oh my goodness, Carrie. I'm so very sorry you lost your boy. Lyric was such an amazing dog. My thoughts are with you through this horrible time. I know how hard it is to lose someone so close. 
The memory of his great life with you will always be in your heart. He'll never be forgotten. Especially with so many people around the country and the world who got to know him, even if just through pictures and stories.
