Seattle, or Portland. Or Portland, or Seattle.

Or Yarrow's Owners backyard (sorry, can't think of username right now :p)

I love Minnesota. Except this winter. Minnesota can go to hell.
My thoughts exactly.

I loved the summers I spent in Colorado. But I hear the east coast can be pretty nice year 'round. I'm going to go with North Carolina!
If you move to the east coast I'm never visiting you. The end. :p

NYC, right now, if I could. Or if I could afford it, I wouldn't mind spending the next 6 months someplace new and random (and hopefully warm). Key West, LA, Cambodia, all come to mind.

If there was more sunshine, Washington state.

If less humidity/fewer idiot politicians, eastern Kansas.

Otherwise I'm sticking with Colorado.

I kinda want to temporarily (like for a year or two) move to Columbus, OH, because I really like the city and logistically it would work out well (lots of friends and family nearby, still close enough to Toronto to come home from time to time) .. but if I could move annnnnywhere I'd love to move to New Orleans! The only thing I didn't like was the humidity, but as a city it really clicked with me. :) I started looking at doing grad school there, but the logistics were just too complicated.

Anywhere in the world, HOLLAND! I don't know exactly why but I fell in love with that place this summer. Completely unrealistic and unresearched but...

More realistically, I really like Seattle but I'm not sold on city life. I'd like to actually go around the country a bunch more to get a feel for different places.

The Atherton Tablelands or the Daintree in Far North Qld.

I wish I could point out where they are on this map. I'll try... Ok the tablelands are a bit further north than the poisonous snakes and the Daintree is further north still but closer to the coast. Roughly 600 - 800km further north to where I currently live.

The map doesn't even mention crocodiles! :lol-sign: Edit - errr... yes it does, I'm just blind. I went to the Daintree last weekend and was so lucky to see two crocs and a cassowary - have never seen them in the wild. It was amazing.

Tasmania as well, and I've always thought at some point I'd live in New Zealand.

Anywhere in the world? Ireland (providing I had the money to live comfortably); I like Maryland, too, but I wouldn't want to be too close to any major cities.

I don't really know. Anywhere the people I love are.

But if I could for sure take them with me, i'd say anywhere with a beach. Sandy, rocky, whatever. I just like water.

If go to my hometown in Germany, Düsseldorf. I miss it so freaking much.

It's old and new, vibrant and quiet - it's gorgeous. You can do so many things outside, like walking through the old part of town, hiking/ biking miles and miles down the fields along the Rhine..

We lived about 20min away from the bustle of the city, but also 10 min away from a huge forest area, so as kids we run around all day on the trails there.

Edit: sorry for the huge pics. And for so many. Can you tell I'm homesick? :p

Australia would do nicely. THe pay is good, there is health benefits if I understand correctly, and I could listen to them talk with great pleasure. Goes back and watches yet more Sea Patrol episodes. Sighs. Not here, right now, that's for sure. Give me 2 more months, and you couldn't rip me away. Spring in Missouri is glorious, but it probably is in Australia too.

This is hard!

I think I would live 1 of these 3 places.

London, Vancouver or NYC for a while, probably not forever.

The great part is I actually live in Vancouver, which is one of my favorite places to live. I think I would probably like to to back to London and live there though.

I love Columbus.

If we're talking climate. I'd say inland NC. But, in reality, we'd like Chicago, Indy or Columbus. Close enough to home to visit regularly without this crazy 10 hr drive. But far enough that no one would actual visit.
