It was reported on the news tonight that her own kids called Rescue Ink on her.

That kicked off an investigation that eventually led to the backyard. Now, investigators are looking into complaints about animals disappearing from the neighborhood, and allegations that McDonough tortured, killed, and buried them behind her house.

"It was a concentration camp for the animals," the suspect's son, Douglas McDonough, said. "My sisters and me, we got the end of it, too."

Investigators told CBS Affiliate WCBS that McDonough's eldest son was the one who tipped off the rescue group to conditions at the home.

WTF, WTF, WTF! I hope those kids are removed ASAP before they end up buried in the backyard too!

The mom is in jail and the kids are being taken care of by family and friends.

Its a tragic story that has a lot more to it, but idk what I am allowed to share.

All I can say is the 11 year old I met is very respectful, and my best friends mom who is fostering her let her pick everything for her new room. Its purple and zebra striped

She has 4 dogs, and the girl is very respectful of them all.

What wrong with that woman?! Torturing and killing dogs as if they don't have families nervously waiting for their dogs to come home. May the dog rest in peace and for their family to move on no matter how hard it is.
