I say "BC" a lot... so I suppose I'm guilty! It just gets redundant typing "Border Collie" "Border Collie" "Border Collie" over and over. Dx

I don't mind it. I actually like trying to figure out abbreviations that I don't get at first. But I'm a weirdo, FYI! hehe

Well you can't use collie, that's already taken. As is border.... border collie or border terrier?

I am guilty. I like GSD, Golden, JRT, I don't use APBT but rather pit... Staffie, Zois, Beezers, Greys, pekes.... PWD, Labs, Sibes, yorkies, chis, Sammies, Tollers, poms.... and many many more I'm sure.

My dogs are always shelties and paps. It's just easier.

I'm used to it, don't really care. Only once in a while do I find one I'm unsure of.

There are lots I don't know and have to stop and think. I guess it is a bit annoying if it slows me down but ... not really. The only one that seems to always throw me is BC. Not because I don't know what it is but because that's the province I live in and I've known it as BC long before I knew what a border collie was
