Today Andrew was off work, and had his camera gear all packed up the night before, ready to take a nice relaxing day for himself. Well, my daycare kids arrived, and right away trouble started--the one boy who has been having a hell of a time adjusting spent the morning screaming, which set off the 1 yr old girl who is just new here. It was insane here, and I was going nuts trying to keep on top of them, settle them down (nothing was working) and get my girls off to school.
Well, Andrew took one look at how harried I was and the two screaming kids, and he pitched in. Not just for a little bit until the baby went for her nap. Not just until snack was over with and kids were playing outside. THE WHOLE MORNING UNTIL NAPTIME IN THE AFTERNOON! Yep, he skipped his entire day for himself and helped me out. He picked our youngest up at Kindergarten so I didn't have to tote three kids (2 still screaming) in the wagon, he made lunch, he refilled kids plates.........HE WAS WONDERFUL!
Sooooooo, since I know he shares so many wonderful things about me on here
, I thought I would let you all know what a true hero he really is. It takes a really great guy to stick it out with crying little ones when he doesn't have to!
(he might just have earned himself that camera he wants )
