whether or not my dog would go home happily with a stranger.

My friend came over, and she wanted to go out jogging - it's nearly dark now, and she does it with her headphones on, so I was worried and asked her to take Middie for my peace of mind.

We went out, her holding him, and when I left he completely ignored me and happily went walking with her. LOL. He's only met her a handful of times, and the last time was almost six months ago.

*sniffles pathetically* My doggie doesn't love me anymore. :rofl1:

hahahaha. I can see Middie happily following her along blindly, completely nonchalant to the fact he's leaving you behind.

Apparently he was nightmarish for the rest of the walk - he tried to drag her into the path of an oncoming car. *sigh* They're both fine, but she only went one mile instead of five. I feel bad.

Well Nolu, don't forget that time at the park where I held Middie and Daisy while you and Skittle went over to see the Bernepoo...he stood there and STARED at you the whole time!

Archie's real weird about that stuff. New things, new people, No reaction. My best friend and her dog got in my car the other day, in the back seat, with Archie in the front seat-- he turned, looked at them both, and laid back down without any kind of reaction at all. He'll go walk with anybody.

He's so uncaring about new situations and new people. If it's not Mother or food, there is no reaction at all. Even when he sees the other members of the household come into the house, or visit us at Petsmart, he doesn't even give them a second glance!

AW!
Happy Middie!
Willing to go home with anyone who takes him on a walkie.:D

Ella would do this, too. Everytime my father-in-law comes over, I watch her turn into a pathetic mess of a dog. It's PATHETIC.
You'd think the man was coming to a shelter and she was trying to win him over to adopt her! Silly dog. She follows him EVERYWHERE. The tail wags NEVER end. The kisses NEVER end. His every wish is her command.

Between us, it kind of makes me jealous.:lol-sign:

Hahahahhahaha! Phoebe would..........but Orson wouldn't! He doesn't even like Kevin holding the leash when I am RIGHT THERE WITH THEM WALKING. He keeps looking to me like "You know I am YOUR responsibility here"

Scary about the car! Glad they are ok :)

Hmm, I rememebr when Mac got into Sophie's painkillers, we had to drop her at the vet. The vet took her leash and off she trotted happy as could be, didn't even look back. Now, I don't think she'd do that.

Buster I don't think would go quietly at all, he is nervous enough outside the yard as is and he has no interests in strangers, if one tried to move him I think we could have a problem.
