Got up ten minutes before I had to be at work, feeling like garbage. Considered phoning in sick, but instead I pulled myself together and hauled my butt into the store.

Felt terrible at work, achy, dizzy, customers were commenting that I looked like crap (always a good thing!) so I came home early and I'm back in bed.

Yup. Great sunny saturday so far :(

Today's been okay. :)

My nephews are spending the weekend here... my mom made me sleep in the extra bedroom with them, Cole woke me up at 7:30am but after handing him off to my mom, I stumbled off to my own bed hah.

Gave Lucy a bath. Now she smells like coconut. :p

The only disappointing thing is that, I got invited to go to Grand Slam with a bunch of people, but my mom doesn't want me ditching her all night so that she's stuck with the kids. Arghhh.

I will jump in and say it was beautiful in Pa today hot, sunny and nice.

I fed puppies alot today trying to get them to eat as mommys milk is leaving and they must eat or die. I have tried everything I know to offer them. I let them out and they play and love the grass.

I have kinda loafed today and going to mall after I feed my dogs at 4 pm. I am not a morning person till about ten a.m. I have not had the TV on all day playing DVD concerts. Love music it inspires me to work and move off the pc and get my work done, bake, cook, etc.

Nice to meet all of you here. My name is Pat and I raise West German Shepherds. I have 8 of them and if I keep a female from this litter it will go up one more. I love Shepherds from Germany and other European countries, it is expensive to import now though?

I am only half way through and i am wiped out. I still have to drive cross town take Victor to the nursing home at 4 and then go to the guild and pick up my work and possibly try to throw my son a beer stein, a late birthday gift, and finish my art unleashed project. Took a vit b shot, am waiting for it to "kick in" sighs.

Sorry to hear about your tummy pixie, maybe it will feel better soon as tummy issues can come and go quickly :) The party tonight sounds like fun, I hope you are 100% for it!

A little burst of rain came through and slowed me down for about an hour or so............took a little slacker nap, now the sun is back and I am up ready for more! Whooo hoooo!

Coop . . .

Shuddup.

I'm dragging and have been fighting inertia all day . . . after I walked the 2.5 miles to the store since my car suddenly decided that the clutch should not engage and my mom decided that Dad needed to take the old lawnmower that they don't use to be repaired so he would need his truck.

And, in a few minutes, I'm going to walk the 2.5 miles BACK. I think even Kharma isn't looking forward to it. Wouldn't be so bad if it weren't on an empty stomach from a scant breakfast.

I never did get in gear and am worn out from no sleep , so off to bed soon . Trouble is that when I do go to bed early I sleep hard for an hour or 2 and then I'm toast . A family funeral tomorrow which sucks too .

well my day had a sterling finish. I could not be prouder of both my kids..Hyia and Victor for how they conducted themselves during our PEts for LIfe Visit. Hyia was dressed in a very pretty summer dress with a bright blue headband, her hair nicely brushed. She visited with the elderly and answered questions and gave compliments that were appropriate. One woman said i brought Hyia just for her! THen she asked if she could play her songs that she has learned in the last three weeks on the piano and i said of course. NOt only did she play them, she played them perfectly, timing, expression, volume, and i could have picked my jaw up off the ground. I told her when we get home GG isn't going to believe it, and that it would put a big old grin on her face which it did exactly that. SHe didn't rush, but sat politely when we had to wait. She held eye contact with people that weren't easy to look at as well. Good Girl Hyia, high five and way to go!!!!!!! Not bad for an 8 year old!

Then my canine kid..gets his gold star as well. One woman was seriously aggitated wanting to know where her husband was, she was striking out at people trying to grab them, they of course were staying just out of reach. SHe was crying. I took Victor over and he without prompting flipped that woman's hand right on to his head, and looked at her face so intently, she stopped what she was doing, and said well hello there, and started to rub his head first with one hand then with both. In fact she was mushing his skin pretty good around there and i was watching to make sure she didnt' poke him in the eye. He never stopped looking at her face and his tail wagged faster and faster which prompted her to say...you like me don't you. ROck on VIctor!!! You cannot teach a dog to do that. He handled a circle group which the last time we did that he didn't like at all, but this time it was like he knew he was on stage and really put out the dramatics as he caught bubbles while on leash. NOt leaping about, but standing on his hind legs and taking a step or two, steadying himself and waiting until one was just right. All eyes were on him by this time. Then we went around and he positioned himself better then he ever has...each time he gets better but this time..we had a long wait while we waiting for the return of the activity director and we were in the hall where everyone was lined up to get their meds. IT was close quarters, but he managed to stay out of everyone's way, and still pay attention to each one that passed and talked to him. A long visit this time, an hour and a half, and he wasn't antzy for a second of it. .wowser was i proud. I took him out and got him two taquitos at quicktrip as a reward. Then off to the guild to find out the bisque kiln hasn't even been fired yet which totally screws up my plans for tuesday. Then a half hour's drive to Mom's to pick up Mary and Pepper, tell mom all my good news about Hy and Vic and fiannnnnnnaly i am home. Will go to bed with a smile on my face. Nothing better then being proud of your kids.

Renee :( Sorry to hear about your car troubles..........it sucks. I hope you can get something worked out sooner than later.

Smkie, that sounds GREAT! There truly is nothing better than your 'kids' doing/being exactly as you have taught them to be, and sometimes going above even that...........it does a heart good :)

It's amazing. I never had any problem at all with this car except for the mess when Idiot ran it out of gas . . . until I let my dad talk me into letting HIS mechanic do the tune-up after it got run out of gas. Dude was seriously snarky about my little car, and ever since I got it back it's had things happen that shouldn't - like a fan belt with a big gouge out of it, a fuel line leak and a water hose with a hole in it - none of which was there before - after I'd told him to check the belts and hoses.

And when I got it back he hadn't changed the oil AND it was a quart and a half low . . . it wasn't low when I took it in, either. He didn't expect me to check the oil, I'm sure.

Needless to say, he ain't touching my car again.

K new day, new post...

woke up, played ball with Milo, cleaned my room and listened to gangstahh music, took a shower, got dressed, did laundry, IT'S MY BIRTHDAY. Responded to all my lovely birthday messages on facebook/myspace...poured baking soda and vinegar in my sink because it was fun...and bounced around being incredibly excited. Lol I haven't been this excited about my birthday in a long long time...
