An interesting equation--Veterans

Our National Specialty is around the corner--Montgomery County KC, the All-Terrier show.

I took a look at the entries by breeds that have a Specialty that weekend and compared Veteran entries (dogs 7 years and older) as a percentage of total entries and found the following results.

Veterans % of Total Entry:

Airedales 3.5%
Dandie Dinmonts 4%
Irish Terriers 14%
Kerries 5%
Lakelands 2.5%
Minature Schnauzers 4%
Norfolk 9%
Norwich 8%
Parsons 12%
Skye 17%
Welsh 2%

OMG, jealous. I was planning on bringing my bitch back to the states for national weekend because she did so good last year, but I got approved for temp residence and can't leave the country or work for 6 months, something like that. I hate missing it, crappy weather and all (though last year was nicer!). I won't miss getting up at 3 and not going to bed at 11 or 12, but watching the terrier group Sunday is like nothing else.

Have fun, the veteran class is always nice. Anyone else on the forum going??
