Well I took in a new foster dog today. A 6 - 8 year old ( owner wasn't sure of age  ) female Dalmatian. She was turned into the county pound. Has always been an "outside dog". She sure is enjoying being inside. Though I have a feeling potty training is going to be "fun" . She is VERY sweet though, acts starved for attention, HATED her bath but she sure smelled like she hasn't had one for years, and her toenails were attrocious. She has an odd lump on her leg but is going to the vet thursday to get checked out. Her name is dominoe but she doesn't respond to it SO I need name suggestions. We are going to just call her princess if we can't come up with a better name.

Here is the lump:

Ohmygoodness, she's adorable!

You never see Dals in shelters around here. Or puppies for sale...thank God.

Is the bump causing any pain for her? It looks horrid...

You don't see many here either in the shelter every once in a while but not often. Or pups for sale. She keeps chewing on the bump and it is hard. So since she chews it I assume it bothers her.

Oh! I like Phoebe for a name. She's a very pretty girl & lucky to have you in her life. Thank you for taking her in & giving her the care she so badly needs.

I friend of ours had a dalmation. Her name was Sadie. She was beautiful and so gentle. She got lumps as she got older. They never amounted to anything. Don't know if this is common is Dal's. Sadies didn't look like an open sore though. Her's was just a lump under the skin.
