Hi
I have a 7 month old cavalier king charles and wondering if i am doing the right thing in regards to her food.
The thing is she often gets treats or a little scrap from the table.
She now wont touch her food at all.
I was told by the vet it is important at this age that she takes something like bakers complete (which is what i give her, the one for pups) so she can get all the vitamins she needs.
So last night i put her the 80 grams of food for her and she did not touch it and 10 minutes later i removed it. I done the same thing this morning and now (its 11pm in the uk) i had to do the same thing again.
She has now been without food for 24 hours but i think if i do this she will eventually realize there are no treats or anything else to eat and she will eat her food. I am doing this for her own good but am i doing the right thing???
