Can you tell me what kinds of allergy foods our out there? as in can or bag. We are useing Natural Balance. But for some reason the price around here went way up so we are looking for some other kind of allergy foods.

I was going to suggest the natural balance but since you are already using it..How much is it where you live? My dog eats it and a 17lb bag costs me $25.00. What exactly is your dog allergic to in some of the foods?

Our min pin has a bad allergy problem, the vets have did tests for mites and other things. We beleave grass, and some other foods are the problem. He is doing ok on this dog food, and well here a 5 LB bag cost $13.00 and a can cost $1.50 the bags were $10.00 and the cans were $1.20 and the pet place they have them at is not close to us so when we go to get some we buy lots at a time and well sense the price went up we are spending more and more on the stuff. I just want to see if i can find another food that is for allergies and i might find it near me if i look. Im thinking it's not going to happen. We do take our dog to the vet every month or so to get a allergy shot, it helps alot.

Why don't you try ordering food online and have it delivered to your house? Or why don't you try a raw diet? I have heard great things about dogs who had food allergys with kibble and once switched to a raw diet haven't had any problems.

Raw isn't a kibble... you can't really find it in a bag. I'd reccomend doing some serious independant research, as it sounds like you (or your vet) aren't really sure what kind of allergies you're treating.

Allergy foods are really for specific food related allergies. The point of them is to remove the allergen from your dogs diet. They're often made with alternative protein and carbohydrate sources, and limited ingredients. To best find a new "allergy food" you need to know what you're avoiding.

If your dog has an environmental allergy, the only FOOD that will help that in any way is raw. Which is a whole other topic which you'd need to research and educate yourself on. Your vet will likely know very little about it and not be of much help (most vets don't know anything about raw feeding).

I use Natural Balance for my 2. Since it has good results for your furpal I think it would be great to keep using it. A way to save some money would be to buy the larger bags which work out alot cheaper. I bought a container at Petsmart for the dry kibble to keep it fresh. In fact today I just bought a 17 lb bag and it was $26.99. For double your money you'd be getting triple the food. And if there is a Petco near you if you get one of their Petco cards after you buy 10 bags the next bag is free.
