So if you read my last thread about how I feel safer in my home school cause now I have a big strong scary looking friend you would know my school is pretty unsafe. Well today proved it lol first violent arrest this year!!! Lol

So im sitting in my Algebra 2 C class and I don't know what sent this kid off lol. But all of sudden this kid Justin starts screaming at this other kid right in the middle of class. The other kid said something not so smart because Justin knocks him out of his desk and starts punching him. My teacher a tiny little 22 year old thing is on the phone to our own personal school cop. He's not a security guard he is a cop lol.

My friend Jack and my other friend Tabitha (she goes to Culinary with me too) are all sitting there with our jaws dropped. Because next thing we know Justin pulls a knife on the kid screaming asking the kid if he wants him to cut him :yikes: . Im freaking out at this point wishing I was alot bigger, stronger, and braver it was all I could do to keep my mouth shut let alone stay in my seat.

So Petris our good ole loyal ghetto school cop comes in. He had about a 10 minute struggle with Justin before he got him under control and handcuffed. The other kid had to be rushed to the hospital cause we think he broke his arm and some ribs and was a bloody mess. All I can say is wow and anouther day in the life of a student at my school. THANKFULLY it is my senior year and im almost out of this crazy oh so "Dangerous Minds" school lol.

Neat. Good ol' school fights always liven up the joint.

My school had them quite frequently. One that I'll never forget is the principle is walking down teh hall and these kids start pushing and shoving playfully. Then one decides that the last shove wasn't so playful and punches the other guy. Other guy retaliates, full out brawl starts up. So you have the requisite ring of people standing around watching, cheering them on, and then you have our school cop (I think every school in the states has a rent-a-cop now a days) is pushing through the ring and so is the principle. Copper detains one while the principle is struggling with another. The student punches the principle and the principle just wrenches the kid's arm behind his back and slams the kid against a locker and the guy had this huge shocked expression on his face.

I feel so bad for kids these days especially in the larger cities, who have to go to school in that kind of environment and try to learn....it's hard enough just to make it through the day!!!!!!!!!! What can we do to change all of this...it starts at home.....what can we do??? Things have to change.....these people are going to be the adults in the world soon!!!:( It's so sad!!!!
