No need to paint pvc.. Use electrical tape. It comes in a rainbow of colours, and is commonly used to spiral on jump bars.

I made a table, hoop, 2 single jumps and a teeter for my dog, and I bought a Dacron tunnel. Helped us go further in classes and learn better. Everything I've made was to 16" height due to my dog's size, if I got a larger dog I'd sell stuff and start again. In everything I've built I've learned how I'd do it better. Some things were built for size, like not having the hoop swing free, but the extra practice at home means in seeing variations in classes and fun matches she always does it right.

Thanks, I guess I should stick with tape. Your teeter looks really good!

How do you do the jump bar holder things? Are they sturdy?

Great photos too, your pup is gorgeous.

I've found electrical is pretty good even in crappy weather, If it starts looking haggard, it's easy to unwrap it all in one piece clean the bar or weave pole and re-tape.

Thank you, Cider thanks you too :)

The jump cups are a one inch pvc cap carefully cut into quarters. Screw through the remaining triangle and into my jump upright. They seem to get loose if the bar gets knocked continuously, but the cup itself doesn't seem to loose it's hold power. Is just the right size to hold the bar so a minor tick doesn't displace it, but a bigger one does send it flying. Enough stability without 'cheating' so the bar is too ridgid.

Not sure how much experience you have with agility, but just want to be the mother figure here, lol - please be careful when teaching a high energy dog agility without professional aide.

While we have gone through all of the training that we need to trial, I would still not feel confident training a fresh dog by myself.....

your obstacles are really quite made. Super! :p

It is true that is well to build some obstacles for on our premises, that makes it possible to work a little in week. Sometimes the club is a little far there to go several times for week.
I build my obstacles in my garden too.

My garden with obstacles.

LOL my bad. Been a long time since I was the newbie on a forum. Takes a while to figure out how people post.
