abscess on dog neck

Ok not sure if it is for sure a abscess but it is small like a gobstopper size if any one had that candy. if not it about the size of a marble. Well Our min pin scratched it today and it i guess made a small hole on it and popped first it was some clear/white puss like stuff than it mixed with blood and now just blood comes out. Is that ok? I put a bandage around it cause he wants to scratch it. Should i be worried or is that ok?

Wondering

What ever happened to your dog and the neck wound? My dog just formed one similar. I am not taking her to the vet until Saturday (it is now Wednesday). Hoping your experience can shed some light...

We took him to vet, it was just a bump that got filled up under the skin its fine they popped it and got it all out. It healed right up they tested it, it came back fine.

They told me its normal some times for older dogs to just get bumps.
