Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers are much more often referred to as a Toller rather than NSDTR. Just thought I'd mention that because hearing/seeing the word Toller seems to confuse a lot of people for some reason.

  14. People also call American Staffordshire Terriers, Amstaffs as well as AST's

Same with Pembroke Welsh Corgis, I've never heard someone call them a PWC, and only once someone knows that they're a corgi do they call them Pems. I've never had someone come up and ask me to pet my PWC or my Pem, they always, always just say corgi.

To clarify on the Husky VS Sibe thing, Husky refers to any nordic freighting dog (alaskan husky, alaskan malamute, canadian inuit dog, sakhalin husky, greenland dog..etc) whereas Sibe refers to specifically Siberian Huskies ;)

American Eskimo Dogs are usually just called Eskies. Greyhounds also called "Greys" Italian Greyhounds have been called Iggies. "Mal" can be for Alaskan Malamute OR Belgian Malinois

    A few others..

AB or AmBull for American Bulldogs
    CO for Caucasian Ovcharka
    CAO for Central Asian Ovcharka
    Sars for Sharplaninetz
Deltari [Illir] for Albanian Shara Mountain Dog

Thats all i can think of for now...
