So the house we bought is semi-fenced!...You go into the backyard, and all 3 sides are fenced, but beside the garage its still open.

I was wondering if anyone knew some "cheap and easy" fence that we can stick up until the summer. ( Since its winter and we have a ton of snow on the ground )

My dad was saying something about you can get a fence that has pegs in it, that you just stick in the snow, and its plastic or something??? But I have nooo idea what hes talking about..lol

I just don't like the idea of Skyler having to be on a leash when he wants to play outside.

you can go to a local hardware store like home depot and pick up some rolled fencing. It's about 4 foot tall and it's much more sturdy than chicken wire. It's relatively inexpensive. But chicken wire is another alternative if you're dogs aren't the type to jump up on it. We did the back perimeter of our yard with that rolled fencing and the dogs have jumped up on it and banged into it and it hasn't budged. And all you gotta do is get a few of the stakes/poles they sell to go with that rolled fencing.

The stuff your dad seems to be talking about is called "snow fencing" used to stop snow from drifting up in certain areas.

Another option is to go to your local fencing store. Often they have chainlink to be scrapped that is in perfect condition (usually its made for a project but then the initial customer changes their mind so it gets scrapped). Then all you need to do is get some 6ft metal rods to use to hold it up.
