A puppymiller is being sued

In a class-action lawsuit. Wizard of Claws has been selling sick dogs and refusing to reimburse customers. Apparently HSUS has just recently joined in. Its been going on for two years, the articles I found on it were dated from feburary 2006. I found this website:http://www.stopwizardofclaws.com


:hail: to those people who are willing to do this. Its gonna be long, bumpy ride as I'm sure Wizard of Claws is going to do anything to get out of paying up. Lets hope some good comes of this!

You might be surprised. If they have enough customers joining the complaint, they just might get shut down. Last year, one single person brought down a huge kitten mill. The people were selling very sick animals on the net. An investigation, stimulated by one customer, showed that they even had a room where they threw dying and morbidly sick cats in with already dead cats. The mill was completely closed and the owners were prosecuted for animal abuse. It CAN happen.

In any case, whatever can be tried, should be tried...I've heard of Wizard of Claws before, and they are something akin to Petland, and all of the other larger retailers that sell puppies in their stores. 90-95% of their puppy "stock" will almost always come from puppy mills. It's sick, wrong, and absolutely evil. It's hard to believe that there are places such as these across our country...it really makes me question humanity.

GRRRRR I could just drop kick all and anyone that just breeds for money.. These creepy people just see green in thier hands but when it comes to the dogs becoming ill well no who cares well just put that one away and get another..

I was just on puppy find and there this idiot Doberman breeder, his dogs are kept in the most deplorable conditions and he shows them on the advertising site... Can you believe that he sent my friend this..when appling for a older Dob..

hello rick; this was her 2nd litter. you can come get her anytime.

Can you believe this guy actually bred the dog twice... not just once but twice knowing how and what she would do with the pups.. Just sick and the other thing, he sold the two litter's and has not even had the dog fixed.. But going to sell her open to just anyone... OHHHHHH! Just insane!

I went and looked up their site and it disgusted me. I counted 38 breeds and puppies always available for each breed! On the "order form" (yes you fill out an order form and they ship almost anywhere) it says there are no contracts and you can have litters if you want because it's "your dog now."
