VERY good fake gorilla! I could not tell it was fake until he cracked his neck and started the drum solo. Unless of course it wasn't fake, but a real image manipulated by computers or something.

I don't care for cadbury (except the eggs at easter time)

And to think I almost didn't click on this thread, because I didn't want to get involved in one of those serious debate type topics.

I will now spend the next 24 hours craving Cadbury Mini Eggs. Thanks a lot.

Mit, Mit, Mit . . . . why would you subject us to listening to Phil Collins?

There's a bit of irony there - the hirsute, muscular gorilla playing the part of the bald, pudgy Cabbage Patch Kid . . .

Got it, I guess it's by Phil Collins, and not Genesis. Although he was in Genesis...
Yah. Phil Collins destroyed Genesis.

Hey, nothing wrong with Billy Joel.

They were playing his greatest hits at at our football stadium a couple weeks ago while they were putting down some tiles. Could hear it half way across campus, it was great.

I enjoyed that enough to scare me about myself......

I am reminded though that Tosca wants to enter the Cadbury Bunny Tryouts next year.

Well I *think* the point is, if a gorilla can do that, play drums correctly to a song*, what the H else can he learn to do?

*and appear to truly FEEL the music

Ahhh that explains the chocolate part. I was not aware that gorillas were not able to eat chocolate prior to this.

But they're learning and after they nail the Eruption solo, we'll have another competitor come Easter time.

I don't know. The more I think about it, the more I think that the entire ad was designed for everyone to be talking about it and asking questions--trying to find a link between a gorilla and chocolate. It's spread like wildfire and gotten people to think about cadbury's. Brilliant, really.

Computer generated animation has come so far!

I think a gorilla can be taught to play the drums. I mean seriously they can learn sign language and learn to paint so why not the drums???
