I didn't know where to put this,But I just wanted people to see.
What traps do to animals.I Know this is Long but I feel I need to tell the whole story.Have not had time to resize the Photos

Goliath came to me about 2 months ago starved for Food an Love.
I didn't want to think about a dog because I had lost my 14 yr old Rotti/shepherd mix.an I just got a German Shepherd puppy for christmas. So I tried not to see this giant of a Dog...But I had to feed him he was hungry.an as hounds do he showed his love by jumping all over me an howling like a hound. He chose me.He is Lab/Coon hound mix.
But because coon hunters will shoot you here if you tie there dogs.
I took him in at night fed him gave him a warm place to sleep.Went to my vet got worm meds for him an a rabie shot.Put a collar on him hoping his owner would tie him.Well last week he was gone for 3 days an I thought his owner found him an he was back home.Putting a collar on someone elses dog almost always works here.

Well I went to take Zeus for his morning walk when out from under my porch came this dear dog with his foot 3 times the size of a normal foot.Still loving me an happy to be back.He had been caught in a trap for 3 days.It took 2 of us to lift this dog to put him in my little car to rush him to the vet.

Here Is sweet Goliath

This is What the Trap Done to this Sweet Dog

He Lost 3 toes because of a Dumb a** trapper
I am Trying to find out who it was an get the Game Warden to do something.

On A Happy Note Galiath has found a forever home.. I am keeping him.
I had him fixed no Babies for no one to want.

Just thought I would share what traps do to our pets.
an needed to vent because I am so angry!!! I could cuss alot but Dont want you all to think I am a bad Person.
Thanks For Listening to me

He is so vocal lol has anyone ever heard a hound dog greet you?

he had everyone at the vets office wrapped around his good paw.
I have my work cut out for me, he is a giant dog an he will have to be tied an exercized alot when he recovers.
He hates being in the house. such a loving dog.

OMG...that paw looks just horrible. Am I ever glad traps have been outlawed around here, they do such harm even to the wild animals who will chew off a foot to escape.

He can't walk on that foot yet

But it has not slowed him down any. He has all the coon hound traits.
except his lab coat.He just talks non stop. I love hearing him most of the time.He is doing great the foot is healing good.an he is not in to much pain the way he keeps smacking me with his bad foot.
