The sad thing is, the dog doesn't have TWO noses! He has a cleft lip that needs to be fixed. Have you ever watched the medical channel? Where doctors fix kids faces that look very much like that poor dog. It's something medical that they could have had fixed. His nose is split in two and his lip is split at the top....a cleft lip. It should have been fixed when he was a puppy IMO.

*or hair lip* :)

Well it looks like he does. You sound kind of defensive lately so Im just going to asume you didnt mean it the way it sounded.

Most people cant aford plastic surgery on their dogs. As long as he can still function who cares what he looks like

It might look like it, but he doesn't. You can tell by the way his lip is (without even reading the article). I never said he looked bad or anything else, I just feel bad for him cause people are making fun of him and it's not right. Not talking about chaz people either...I mean the one's that gave him up and the others that called him a freak. I figure if people will do free plastic surgery for kids/adults they could have vets that do it for free for dogs/cats/etc.

Oddly enough, I've seen it done on a turtles mouth before. Some sewing and plaster to hold it together. Couple weeks later he was fine.:)

I never said he did have two noses. Two noses means he would have four nares, more than likely.

Doing plastic sergery for free on a kid/adult is WAY different than on a dog. A dog doesnt know he looks different. A person does and this can have deep phycological effects on a person.

If the dog still can lead a normal happy life why would a vet do it for free?

Jenn - lol...I don't know. I know you didn't say he had 2 noses, just that it looked like it. Maybe dogs do know how they look. ;) Some sure act like they know they are pretty, or handsome. :)

Hi there. I wrote up the story on this dog for K9 Magazine so I can confirm he is indeed real and extremely cute. I agree with all who have posted that he is deserving of a new home and it's a sad state of affairs that people can't see past his unusual appearance through to his incredible personality. I am hoping to get an update on him with regards to his search for a new home. I'll be happy to update as soon as I have more news.

Awww, poor baby. And he's not a freak at all. I'd take that boy in a heartbeat.
