WOW! He's STUNNING. i don't think i've ever seen that breed before. he is seriously....WOW.

Una was my great-grandmother's name :) she was native american, Iroquois though, not Hopi, but i think by then most of the tribes were merged and stuff. i'm not sure about it being unisex...

again, he is GORGEOUS.

Well, crud.....it looks like I gave my poor dog a female name. Oh well, I don't think he minds.:)

Hmmmm......I believe Dogbreedinfo.com has good info about them. The "founding" breeder is Majestic View Kennels......a fairly large kennel, too large IMO, but anyways.
Una is a very unique dog. He's gentle with smaller dogs and even other animals, cats and even ferrets. LOL He's very shy, to the extent of being skittish around strangers, which is NOT consistent with other NAIDS I've met. He also loves children and will sit down when they approach....he know's to be gentle. He's a special dog.
