Well, I've found a dog I really want. He is a 3-year-old collie mix at the Last Chance Rescue in Howell Michigan. I've been emailing with his foster mom and hopefully will be able to meet him soon - she had to go out of town this weekend. He was found as a stray in Ohio, he was starving and had heartworm. The wonderful people at a shelter in Ohio took him in and he has been treated for the heartworm, though is still recovering. He will need a lot of TLC but they expect a full recovery.

Something about his eyes in his picture melted my heart. I will keep you all posted!

I wish I knew how to bring the link here!! Last time I was interested in a dog, Gaddy very nicely brought the link here. For now, take my word for it, he is gorgeous (of course, what dog isn't?) He is a mix but looks purebred Collie.

Beautiful! I'm getting a baby collie in two weeks from a breeder. They are wonderful dogs. He looks like he might have some gsd in him.

3furkids - Thank you so much for allowing me to show off Murray!!! That was very nice of you.

Bridey - My husband thought he had GSD too! Now, he's all proud of himself that someone else agreed with him!

Everyone - thanks for all your encouragement. I am really excited about Murray and am really hoping he will be mine. His foster mom said someone else is really interested in him too, but she said she thinks I could give him a wonderful home from what we've discussed so far in our emails. I should here from her tonight, keep your fingers crossed for me!

Barb, no it won't be until tonight that the foster mom gets home from a trip and even then she said she'd try to contact me - it might even be tomorrow. I don't know how she will determine who is the best home for Murray, but I guess if its meant to be it will be (hope, hope, hope) :)
