We're having a problem with Daisy and her weapon of a tail. At some point she got a cut on the end, and now whenever she wags it real hard, which is often, and it bangs against something, which is more often, it opens up the little cut and then she ends up having a blood paint brush, painting walls, cabinets, doors. You get the picture. If we go out, she hears us come home and by the time we open the front door you have already heard her tail banging against the door jamb at the kitchen and her tail is opened up. Now I try to rush in and divert her from the small area near the door and get her outside so her energetic wagging won't reopen her little scab (we're talking something less than 1/4" around, right on the tip of her tail), but it's not real effective. Anyone have any ideas on how we can get this little scab healed up so she doesn't keep busting it open? It's not like we can keep her from being a happy girl and wagging her tail.
