Harlow would sniff briefly but then leave it and go sleep on the couch.

Rider would sniff it, be told to leave it alone and possibly reminded a time or two, but leave it.

If left to her own devices, Tulsa would totes snatch it. If someone was watching her, she would leave it be. But most likely in the situation, she would be crated.

Look at all of you, with your good dogs :p

In my house it would 100% be gone. Both dogs would be equally culpable. I can't decide if they'd be so caught up in eating that they'd ignore each other, or if they'd fight over it. I imagine at some point Rowan would get guardy and Riff would throw down. Not pretty.

But that turkey? Gone.

I just go with management. Don't want the dogs to get something? Don't leave it on the counter. I'm sure I could at least improve their manners, but eh, that requires effort, and I'd rather be doing something fun with them. :p

This happened. Ryker stood on the counter and licked it and tried to nibble off pieces like a bad boy. Gypsy ignored it. After I told Ryker to leave it maybe 3 times? He finally gave up and left it alone.

Tucker by himself would be fine. He has gotten on the table like twice in his life but no longer seems to care or even think about it. What would happen though is that Willie would get up there and throw it on the floor, THEN Tucker would eat the turkey. For some reason the cat hasn't figured out that if he stays up on the counter and eats the food he's safe, instead he always tries to run off with it and the dog steals the food from him.
