Ok so this is an Onion article, so not to be taken seriously, but every now and then The Onion (a satire website) hits the nail on the head and this is one of them:

How many undiscovered talents are there because people weren't encouraged to try new things, or unable to do so in the first place? I don't really have a whole lot more to add to that, as I think it's a rather self-explanatory concept, but just some food for thought.

I like articles like this. They always make me think.

There's definitely something to be said for trying anything once or twice, rather than limiting yourself to a much smaller spectrum of opportunities.
