My grandfather died this morning. This sucks. I don't even know what to say, or do, or anything. I can't even cry, I'm just in shock. I knew it was coming, but that doesn't make it any easier.

And what makes things worse, is my other grandpa passed away not even a year ago. He went on New Years day.

I just want to cry, and I can't. I feel like there's something ripping my heart out. It just hurts so much. :(

Paternal.

My grandma is not doing good at all. Her and my grandpa had such a close tight bond, they loved eachother so much. She had so many problems dealing with him being sick, and now that he's gone, I dunno. She kept saying it would be better for him to go, he'd stop suffering, but from what my mom told me this morning, she's took a turn for the worst. :(

He was 82, I believe.

Yeah he's been tough on my dad, he's been doing so much for my grandma (and he's an only child, so I've been the only other person to help him). I think he's happy the suffering is over though. My grandpa had been sick for 3 years now, so it's done, he's in a better place now.

Now if I can just keep remembering to tell myself that, maybe this won't be so tough. :(

I'm sorry--it is hard even if you know the suffering has ended, it's still a loss. ((HUGS)) for you and your family.
