9 1/2 week old yorkshire terrier/peanutbutter

Just a quick question if suffing alittle bit of peanutbutter in the small kong we got her is ok for a 9 and a half week old yorkie?? Im basically just asking if a puppy that young can eat a tea spoon full of peanutbutter??

I always put in kibble and PB or cheese whiz.. Took up room so I was using less PB to keep it all 'together'.. subtracting the amount I put in from her daily meals.

You could mix a very small amount of peanut butter with kibble and put it in there.

You can buy peanut butter without sugar added too. I have some, it contains only peanuts. :)

So...its ok for me to mix a bit of peanutbutter with a little bit of kibble and put it in her small puppy kong??

Yes. If you are worried, you could put stuff in the Kong, and just seal the opening with peanut butter to make it all "stay" in :)

With that little dog, I'd do no more than spread a thin layer on the inside of the opening, just like an eight or a quarter of a teaspoon. It could give her diarrhea if you give too much. What about a little canned dog food, just a little bit. When you get the scent and just enough for a taste, that's often plenty.
