Hello Everyone,
I am very new to chatting on-line as well as being a new puppy owner. My puppy is 15 weeks old and last week I thought I well on my way to getting her on a daily schedule as well as housebreaking her. Last week I had to go out of town for a few days and all week I feel as though we are starting all over again. Except things seem to be worse as she is pooping and peeing in her exercise pen which was not happening prior to me going out of town. I even noticed when I came home she had a couple of accidents in her kennel during the early morning hours. I have read several post on potting training puppies and keep telling myself "she is only a puppy and she will get it" If anyone has any words of wisdom please feel free to share

Definately keep in mind that she is ONLY 15 weeks old and if she is a smaller breed, potty training will take LONGER

What breed is your pup?

Definately check out the training section as it seems every other post is about potty training lol

Thanks for the encourgement. My puppy is 15 weeks old and she is a yorkie-poo. Today she has been doing much better, I do try to remember she is just a pup... she is just a pup... she is just a pup!

Hiya and welcome Is that your baby in your avatar? What a little cherub. She is just adorable. Hang in there with the toiliet training, you will get there. There are lots of threads on the subject, and this forum is very helpful

Yep, that is Brandi..... we are more than determined to be consistant. I am thinking about enrolling us in a puppy training class.

Also, training class is KEY! I strongly encourage it to everyone that has a dog! (Unless they feel well qualified, and would prefer to do it themselves, of course)
