1. I'm a person who is easily confused in stressful/pressure like sitautions. Like, if someone is giving me instructions to do something, I start to feel pressured and start having a hard time understanding what that person is telling me to do. Very annoying.

2. I can be pretty delusional and live much of my days imagining myself doing or having certain things. Like, if there is a breed that I really want, I'd spend many days imagining what that life would be like. I like to draw, but I spend most of that love imagining things I would like to draw and imagining how people react to it.

3. I like to read extremely depressing stories.

4. I hate it when things I like become popular. It changes my opinion about it. Like, due to Inception, Joseph Gordon Levitt is more popular than ever and it is making me become distant to my favorite actor. Another fun fact, I watch 500 Days of Summer over 12 times, sometimes back to back whenever it came on the HBO channels. If it comes on again, I'm going to watch it again.

5. When I was a kid, I put feelings in things like socks, shirts, cups, etc. Which is one of the reasons why I hate throwing away things.

Wow really? My pinkies and my thumbs are all trigger fingers. Is there a reason you had surgery done - or rather should I be worried because I didn't? :p I used to think this was completly normal because my whole family has it... but friends are always creeped out when I show them. :lol-sign:
You know, I've never really thought about it, I figured that everyone who had trigger fingers got surgery done to make mobility the same as a normal finger. If it doesn't bother you or hurt you then it's probably fine :) Besides, why get rid of something that creeps out your friends once in a while? :p

I'm loving this thread because I'm learning how much I have in common with you guys! Almost every post, it's like "hey! me too!"

3: I have a large personal bubble. I don't like hugging, sitting too close to people, or anyone touching me.
This. And I hate it. :( I used to LOVE hugs. Still do from certain people. But a few years back I had a REALLY bad experience with a 22 year old guy (I was 17) and long story short, kissed me - shoved his tongue down my throat - without my consent, and like...kind of grabbed me/held me to him, and it really kind of scarred me. Thankfully I got him off of me, and got away before anything else happened. Before then I had never kissed anyone (and haven't since), and it really messed me up. =/ It sucks that that had to be taken from me. And I also get really uncomfortable if anyone (especially guys) touch me, sit too close, etc. I really hate it because I was never like that before.

Another thing no one knew about me, and I never intended to tell anyone, lol!

1. I would rather sit around and watch a movie then go to a party
2. I think french fries should be a major food group lol
3. I don't let people in easily, but once I do, they are there forever. I will love them, forgive them and be there for them no matter what.
4. I'm a season dvd TV show junkie lol. I won't follow a show week by week, but when it comes out all together in seasons, I will spend weeks straight getting through it
5. I'm scared of heights

1. I go barefoot whenever possible and don't like wearing shoes or socks unless my feet are really cold. Even if I'm taking the dog out to pee in 6" of snow, I'll still just put on flip flops (or go barefoot, if I know she'll be quick!).

2. I can NOT fall asleep if my feet are cold. I also have to go through my "bedtime ritual" before I can sleep. PJs on, teeth brushed, contacts out, face cleaned, nose blown, and vasaline on my lips. Even if I'm really tired and start to fall asleep and I notice my lips are dry or my teeth are gross I just can't sleep until I fix it.

3. I've never had a boyfriend. Gone out on "dates" with highschool friends, but never dated.

4. When I was younger I was obsessed with stuffed animals, and I still refuse to get rid of my favorite stuffed animals (Bowser, Viggo, Max, Bongo, Teddy, Bigfoot, Okie, Chester, Frosty, Bunny, Pikachu, and my Furby) because I think it will hurt their feelings.

5. I love the night sky. Absolutely adore it. Just tonight I was driving home and it just took my breath away how gorgeous the sky was. There were no stars or moon, but it was just a span of a blue so rich and dark it was almost black, but not quite. The trees were dark shadows against it and the lights from the cars and buildings made everything that much more contrasting. I was half tempted to just stop the car and soak it all in. I live out in the country where they sky isn't polluted by city lights and it is just so amazing sometimes. I have a secret desire to take a walk one night when the moon is full just to see how much different the countryside is in that still quiet only night can bring.

1-I hate talking on the phone, I will email if I can vs. calling. Does not apply for most of my family though. I wont even call my college, I just email them lol.

2-I have a hard time sleeping if I am not under a blanket or have a pillow to hug. Even when it's really hot, I will try to sleep under a sheet lol. The pillow thing is because it's akward for me to sleep without one, I can't stand to just have my arms flopped out or whatever you normal people do.

3-I just learned that I have geographical tounge lol. Not as severe as google images though! Mine is burning right now, I have a cold. Sour candy makes mine flair up too, ouch!

4-I usually prefer staying at home (or being with family) by myself with my pets than going out. I do not party ever. Social gatherings are creepy to me. No, I do not go to the store and "omg omg omg! PEOPLE!" Public places do not bother me for the most part.

5-Never dated, never really wanted too. But my biological clock is ticking even though a baby isn't reasonable right now, It has to be the right guy. I want to finish school, get a house, and stuff first. No, I am not going to jump into a relationship just for a sperm donation. I have seriously thought about adoption, I may do that later in life. I have never told anyone about this haha. :p

And add me to the list that doesn't like talking on the phone. I HATE it. I don't know why, I just loath it entirely. I'd much rather email or talk to you face to face than call you up on the phone.

I used to hate talking on the phone, but I got over that for some reason, I guess maybe by working where I had to make a ton of phone calls.

I refuse to have GPS on my phone. Most of the fun I have is when I'm lost. I'd never find any cool hidden spots if I knew exactly where I was going all the time.

1. Sometimes I tell lies to people just to see if I can get away with it.

2. I have no close friends. I have friends that I can talk to about most things, but I don't have anyone that I can tell everything about myself to.

3. I love to cook. I can't make very many things though, and I hate cooking for just myself.

4. I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with my life.

5. I love the cold. I've seriously thought about signing up to work at McMurdo Station. It dropped to below zero here for a few days, and I was far more comfortable in -10 than I am at 80.
So does #1 negate the rest? ;) And hey, #4 is apparently a family trait.

1. I have a huge amount of wanderlust and will get more and more out of sorts until I take a roadtrip. Hence why I suddenly up and go back to Kansas for no apparent reason.

2. My German farmer nesting side is constantly thwarted by #1. I'd love to have a big farm and raise my own food and stuff, but it's hard to do that when half the time you want nothing more than to travel by motorcycle with nothing but what can fit into a backpack.

3. My bio clock started ticking when I was in 8th grade but by the time I was 24, I had put that clock on the train tracks and gleefully watched it get smashed to bits. The thought of having kids scares the living sh*t out of me and it gets worse every year. I would be perfectly happy with only having dogs.

4. I had a paper published by my university, but my prof sent them the wrong copy and so they published my rough draft, complete with editing notes from my professor.

5. I love to swim and waterski but deep water gives me vertigo. If I'm out in a big lake, I will basically float on my back the whole time to avoid having my feet dangle below me where something could swim up and grab them.

One of my worst fears ever.

1) My middle fingers are incredibly incredibly crooked. When I'm sober I can be kind of self conscious of that. When I'm drunk I like showing them off.

2) I cry a lot. Most movies make me cry, some songs make me cry, books make me cry (I have lots of romantic classics and non-fiction horse books with tear stains) and I've even gotten a lump in my throat after watching commercials. I cried for ages after I read Heath Ledger died. I cried for pretty much all of Dances With Wolves, and for a good half hour after (the "I am Wind In His Hair! Do you see that I am your friend? Can you see that you will always be my friend?" really got me, LOL). Oddly enough, I did not cry watching Up! unlike so many people I know.

3) I'm quite shy and somehow I give off the vibe that I'm stuck up and not approachable, lol. I bond very very closely with my friends though and they become a huge part of me. I'm quite dependent on my 2 closest friends.

4) Most days I feel like I don't belong here and I want to just get up and move to Texas and be around great cutting horses, but I sometimes doubt that I'd be strong enough to leave my best friends behind (see #3).

5) I'm a huge, huge pessimist. I try to think positively but I've had too many things not work out. This is probably why I always talk myself out of 4.

Ummm...

1. I am incredibly shy, and having social anxiety disorder does not help this. Friends are few and far between, but those I have mean the world to me, and I would do anything to.

2. I am way too emotional. I cry when I am angry, upset, sad, happy... anything.

3. When I was little, I was not able to say much of anything. S, TH, CH, SH, B, M, T, R.... and more all came out wrong. After intense speech therapy, which included an hour a day at school one on one, and 3 times a week at the children's hospital, I can say it all except for R... and sometimes I mix up Rs and Ws.

4. I am incredibly excited to go visit Amber (Upendi&Mina) in September. We have been talking online like... daily for so long, that I feel like we already know each other. However, I am also utterly and completely terrified that I will get there, and we will be nothing alike, and just not 'click'.

5. I have a huge phobia of trucks. Buses as well, but nothing gets me as bad as trucks do. Especially 18 wheelers. And I unload them at my job ;) I load myself up with drugs at work if I know that I am going to be on the truck, and I let somebody else back them in :rofl1: I backed in the truck once (it was the usual driver, who I know can drive and like... the only one I trust not to kill me) and I chickened out and left him a good foot from the wall. It used to be worse.. I used to be horrible in cars.

Although, most of that people already know, most likely :p
